It’s beginning to feel a lot like anxiety season! I don’t know about you, but I’ve been feeling the got-to-get-it-done vibes, and got-to-get-it-done-fast. Obviously, we’re reaching the end of the year, so we have that to deal with, but also so many of us spent this year getting rid of the old that we’re already thinking about how we’re going to make 2018 the best year yet. And we want it to happen like, um, right now.

That’s all great. I love the action energy, but it can also make us fall off centered. Like I’ve said a ton lately, too much pushing makes us lose our initial intention. It’s okay if we fall off track, we just want to make sure we have the tools to help us get back to our center.

For today’s Monday Message, I want to share with you a quick little exercise I do when I’m feeling like my energy is all over the place. It calms my energy and brings me back to myself. Plus, it’s super quick.

All you need is a quiet, comfy place to sit. A mat or pillow does just fine. And if you’re a mom, like me, hiding in your closet or bathroom totally gets the job done.

You’ll also need one of the following: sage, Palo Santo, or your hands.

TOOLS
1. Sage
Sage made its way into the New-Agey world thanks to the Native Americans who have been using this herb as medicine for many years. It is said to bring cleansing, clarity of thought, and balance. Sounds good to me!

2. Palo Santo
Palo Santo comes from a mystical tree that grows on the coast of South America. Similar to sage, it is used for cleansing, intuition, and even for ridding yourself of the common cold.

3. Your Hands
The last tool I recommend is your magical hands! We are energy. One really way to feel the energy that comes from us is by rubbing our hands together, pulling them apart, and making an imaginary ball with them. Our intentions for that energy transform it. So for on those cloudy mind days, we can set the intention for healing energy that will balance our own energy.

STEPS FOR CLEANSING
1. Sit
You’re going to sit on the ground, as if you were in meditation position.

2. Prayer
Start with a little prayer. Ask for your guides to come be with you to help you cleanse your own energy and restore your balance.

3. Set Your Intention
Grab your tool and set your intention. For example, “I would like to use the source’s healing energy to restore my own energy back to balance. I would like to clear my mind of negative thoughts and may I begin to see my life through the divine’s perspective. “

4. Use Your Tool
Take your tool and move it around your aura (as seen in the video).

5. Affirm
Say thank you! And affirm that it is done. This is you stating that you believe the healing has been completed. And just like that, you are your own healer. Yay!
